Employment Opportunities for Senior Environmental Professional

COOE has employment opportunities for experienced senior environmental professionals interested in associate or secondment positions in North Queensland.

Associate positions are afforded flexible working hours and a generous pay structure. Secondment roles provide great opportunities for professional development for those available to work onsite.

The Senior Environmental Consultant must have approvals and/or EIA experience, good working knowledge of relevant environmental legislation and permitting requirements, excellent writing and communication skills. Experience on mining projects, preparation of EIS and EA application documents and rehabilitation/closure planning experience is desirable.

Tertiary qualification in science or engineering is essential.

Applicants should highlight their availability to undertake site visits (1 week) and short-term secondment (3 months) at remote locations.

COOE is looking for suitable candidates in the Cairns area, however interest from highly experienced consultants further afield is welcome.

Preferred experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar professional field.
