COOE has career opportunities for senior environmental professionals with experience in the mining and energy industry, based in Adelaide. COOE has adapted to the COVID lockdown experience by offering very flexible working conditions including Associate and Secondment positions.
Associates are afforded flexible working hours and a generous pay structure. Associates can choose what assignment they want to work on the rate of pay for each assignment. Secondment roles provide great opportunities for professional development for those available to work onsite.
The Senior Environmental Consultant must have tertiary qualification in science or engineering and an Australian Work Permit. A good working knowledge of relevant environmental legislation and permitting requirements, excellent writing and communication skills are important for this role.
Work experience on mining projects, preparation of Environmental Permitting, Impact Assessment Reports and rehabilitation/closure planning is desirable.
Preferred experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar professional field and experience in the mining and energy industry.
